General Terms

These Terms of Use govern the legal relationship between the InvenTally app and its users.

By using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, you should not use the app.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.

Description of Service

InvenTally is an inventory management app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Scope of Service

  • Adding, editing, and deleting products
  • Barcode and QR code scanning
  • Import from Excel/CSV files
  • Stock tracking and alerts
  • Category and location management
  • Real-time synchronization
  • Team sharing (Pro)
  • Analytics, reporting, and export (Pro)
  • Push notifications

Service Limitations

  • Provided "as is"
  • Requires an internet connection
  • Depends on third-party services

Account Security

Account Requirements

  • Age 13 or older (parental/guardian consent under 18)
  • A valid email address
  • A strong password
  • Accurate information

Security Responsibility

  • Keep your password confidential
  • You are responsible for activity on your account
  • Report unauthorized access
  • We recommend using 2FA

Grounds for Account Closure

  • Violation of the terms of use
  • Illegal activities
  • Providing false information
  • 2 years of inactivity

Prohibited Conduct

Prohibited Activities

  • Recording illegal products
  • Hacking the app
  • Security breaches
  • Spam and bot usage
  • Excessive API calls
  • Intellectual property infringement
  • Harming other users

Consequences

  • Account suspension
  • Permanent account closure
  • Legal action
  • Claim for damages

Intellectual Property

Ownership of the App

  • Owned by InvenTally
  • All rights reserved
  • Protected by copyright

User License

  • Personal/commercial use
  • Use on the devices linked to your Apple account
  • Copying is prohibited
  • Reverse engineering is prohibited

User Content

  • Content you upload belongs to you
  • You grant us a license to use it
  • The license ends when the account is deleted

Subscription & Payment

Plans

  • Free: Up to 50 products, 1 photo per product, 30-day activity history
  • Pro: Unlimited products, team sharing, 3 photos per product, unlimited history, report export, alternate icons, advanced analytics

Payment Terms

  • The Pro subscription is purchased in the app through the App Store, monthly or yearly
  • Payment is charged to the payment method linked to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase; the price is shown in the app in your local currency
  • Pro starts with a 7-day free trial; you are not charged if you cancel before the trial ends
  • The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period
  • Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription
  • Cancel on iPhone under Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › InvenTally, or in the app under Profile › Manage Subscription
  • Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies

When Pro Ends

  • Pro remains active until the end of the paid period; the account then returns to the Free plan
  • If you have more than 50 products, you get 7 days to choose the 50 to keep; the remaining products are deleted at the end of that period (the app notifies you in advance)

Refunds

  • Refunds are subject to Apple's App Store policies and are requested through Apple
  • No refunds are given for the period already used

Disclaimer

Warranty Limitations

  • Provided "as is"
  • No guarantee of uninterrupted operation
  • No guarantee against data loss
  • Third-party services are not guaranteed

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect damages
  • Data loss
  • Loss of business
  • Loss of profit
  • Third-party issues
  • Force majeure

Total Liability

  • Paid service: Payments made in the last 12 months
  • Free service: TRY 100

These limitations do not apply to damages caused by wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or where mandatory consumer law does not permit them.

User Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against all claims and damages arising from:

  • Violation of the terms of use
  • Illegal activities
  • Infringement of third-party rights
  • Providing false information
  • Security breaches

This indemnification includes attorney fees and court costs.

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

  • Laws of the Republic of Türkiye
  • The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction
  • For users acting as consumers, the jurisdiction rules and rights under consumer protection law remain reserved; for consumers in the EU/EEA, the mandatory consumer law of their country of residence applies

  4. Court proceedings

Termination of Service

We May Terminate

  • Violation of the terms of use
  • Illegal activity
  • Prolonged inactivity
  • Decision to discontinue the service

You May Terminate

  • You may delete your account at any time
  • In the app: Profile › Delete Account
  • Your sign-in record is deleted immediately; your inventory data and photos are permanently deleted within 30 days at the latest

After Termination

  • Access to the service ends
  • Data is deleted (except for legal retention)
  • No refund for the period already used

Force Majeure

We are not liable for the following circumstances beyond our control:

  • Natural disasters (earthquake, flood, fire)
  • War, terrorism, civil unrest
  • Government decisions, embargoes
  • Internet outages
  • Third-party service outages
  • Cyber attacks
  • Power outages

The service may be temporarily suspended in these circumstances.

Changes to the Agreement

Right to Update

  • We may change these terms at any time
  • Significant changes are announced 30 days in advance
  • Email and in-app notification

User Consent

  • Continued use after changes = acceptance
  • If you do not accept, you may delete your account
  • Renewed consent may be requested for significant changes

General Provisions

Severability
If a provision is invalid, the others remain in effect
Waiver
Not exercising a right does not constitute a waiver
Entire agreement
This agreement contains the entire agreement and supersedes prior agreements
Assignment
You may not assign your rights; we may assign ours
